Marketing for pilates, yoga, barre and boutique fitness studios
We help boutique studios fill classes with new clients: short videos, Meta ads in your own ad account, a page where people buy or book your intro offer, and a reply to every new lead in under 60 seconds. Run a general gym or CrossFit box? See marketing for gyms.

A gym sells access. A studio sells a spot in a class with a fixed number of spots, like 12 reformers. You don't need endless leads, just the right people in the classes that have room.
Interest is high. Pilates was the most-booked workout on ClassPass worldwide for the third year in a row in 2025, with bookings up 66% from the year before. Yoga and barre were in the top five too (ClassPass 2025 Look Back Report, January to October 2025 bookings). That also means more studios chasing the same new clients.
Why studio leads go cold
New people are nervous. Will I keep up? What do I wear? Unanswered questions mean no booking, and many go unanswered. In a July 2024 secret-shopper test of 45 North American fitness brands, 58% of email inquiries got no reply, and Instagram replies took 37 hours on average (Keepme, 2024; Keepme sells gym software). More on speed to lead.
What we run for a studio
- Videos made for your studio. 12 a month. Our creators record them speaking as your studio, or your instructors send phone clips. We never need to visit.
- Meta ads in your own ad account. 30+ ad versions a month. You pay Meta directly. We never mark up ad spend.
- An intro-offer page where people buy your intro pack or book a first class online.
- A reply in under 60 seconds. A text from your studio's name from 9am to 8pm in the lead's time zone (not before noon on Sundays), and an instant email otherwise, with a link to book. Texts only go to people who opted in. See lead follow-up.
- Reminders and a show-up video on where to park and what to bring, plus missed-call text-back and follow-up.
- A weekly report on leads, intro sales, first-class shows and cost per booking.
Pick the right intro offer
- Paid intro pack. Many pilates, reformer, yoga and barre studios sell a short starter pack, like 3 classes in 14 days.
- Free first class, booked into a set time. This fits boxing, cycling and other studios with more room per class.
Video ideas for a studio
- "Your first reformer class, step by step." A host walks through it over your class clips, from check-in to the first 10 minutes.
- "5 words you'll hear in class." A host explains cues like "neutral spine" or "jab, cross" in 20 seconds.
- "Meet the instructor." A phone intro: their name, their class and one thing they want new people to know.
- "Class energy." 15 seconds of real class footage with an on-screen timer. Only clients who agreed to be filmed appear, and no creator poses as one.
Ad angles that follow Meta's rules
Meta bans ads that say or hint at something about the viewer's body, health or other personal traits. So we talk about the studio, the class and the offer:
- Yes: "New to reformer? Start with [intro offer]." "Never done barre? Our 6pm class is built for first-timers." "Pick your first class time from your phone."
- No: "Tired of your back pain?" "Want a flatter stomach?" No before-and-after photos, no body close-ups and no health questions on lead forms.
January and the other busy months
January is a big month for most studios, so the work starts in November with our January Rush Pack ($1,500 one time, November only): 8 videos, a New Year ad campaign and text follow-up live before January 1. September is often a second push.
How pricing works
Our main plan covers everything above: $1,500 a month for our first 5 clients this November (Founding Partner), then $2,500 a month plus a $1,500 setup fee (Growth). Both have a 3-month minimum. Ad spend is separate, paid to Meta; we usually suggest $1,000 to $2,000 a month. See pricing.
The booked-trial guarantee
Before ads start, we set a target for booked trials in your first 30 days of ads: that spend divided by $75, up to 20. At $1,500 or more, the target is 20. At $1,000, it's 13. Miss it, and month two's fee is waived.
Questions
How do I get more clients for my pilates studio?
Run one clear intro offer, show real classes and instructors in short videos, and reply to every lead within a minute with a booking link.
Should my studio offer a free class or a paid intro pack?
If classes fill up, a small paid pack tends to bring people who show up. If you have room, a free first class booked into a set time is easier to say yes to.
How is this different from your gym marketing?
It's the same system, tuned to fill specific class times with limited spots.
How fast do you reply to new leads?
In under 60 seconds: a text from 9am to 8pm in the lead's time zone, or an instant email outside those hours.
Do you only work with fitness studios?
No. We also work with gyms, med spas, salons and home service companies. Hypely is an Iowa company that works remotely with businesses across the US.
